Colette has been performing internationally since 1979. Some performance highlights over the years include appearances at India's Jazz Yatra Festival in 1987, Senegal's Saint Louis Festival in 1995 and Morocco's Essaouira Gnaoua Festival in 2012.
Colette has just released her third and latest cd "INCARNATE". This cd is her response to the passions and pains of life. The language is Latin Jazz. The rhythms are Afro Cuban. The soul is universal. Michaan finds profound joy in music and communicates it onstage. "Playing music is vital to me" she affirms, "I am grateful for the desire to play, the ability to play and for each opportunity to play".
