The United Palace of Cultural Arts gets its groove on with ​a quartet of bands that will stir your soul and move your feet: ADH, Harambee Dance Company, Chargaux, and Les Nubians.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $50 that include priority seating and a reception after the show with the artists.

Les Nubians: Grammy-nominated international recording artists Les Nubians have intrigued audiences for over a decade with their inventive and glamorous Afropean style. This distinctive sound embodies the timeless vibrations of Miriam Makeba, Ella Fitzgerald, Doudou N'diaye Rose, Fela Kuti, Edith Piaf,  The Fugees, and Soul II Soul.

Recognized for their colorful auras, Les Nubians' vogue is a fusion of Funkin' Fashion and Modern Amazon. Adoring fans pay tribute to the French/Cameroonian sister duo for their continuous flow of jazzy nuances, hard hitting drum ‘n' bass lines, harmonious melodies, conscious proclamations and humanitarian endeavors.

Their hit single “Makeda” propelled their 1999 U.S. debut album to the top of the charts making 'Princesses Nubiennes' the most successful French-language album in decades.

Chargaux: Charly and Margaux, popularly known as Chargaux are a Brooklyn based art collective. As a string duo who both compose and perform original works they have altered the reputation of classical instruments and the people who play them. Utilizing elements of visual art and creative fashion, they continue to pioneer a new breed of musicianship.

Harambee Dance Company:  In Swahili Harambee means "let us pull together". Harambee Dance Company pulls together the essence of African and African-American dance and music presenting it from an innovative and exciting new contemporary perspective. Artistic Director and resident choreographer Sandella Malloy has developed a high-energy repertoire that pulls together African-based movement, modern dance forms, live percussion and original music, and vibrant costumes into captivating performances reflecting the majesty of the African Diaspora.
