This performance celebrates Héctor Elpidio Acosta Restituyo, known as Héctor Acosta "El Torito" for his merengue and bachata music. He released his first solo debut album Sigo Siendo Yo in 2006. His first hit, "Me Voy" was written by Romeo Santos and appeared as number one on Billboard Hot Latin Songs. In 2008, Acosta released his second album Mitad/Mitad(Half/Half), featuring a number one hit on the Tropical Songs chart. Mr. Acosta was nominated to the Grammys for Best Contemporary Tropical Album in 2016.
