Sinopsis

A nivel de toda República Dominicana, Todo aquél apellidado Ramírez es prometido una herencia de millones de euros, perdida en el tiempo, robada por un dictador. Nos centramos en la Fmailia de Diómedes Ramírez. La película es un juego de esperar lo prometido, qué hacer mientras se espera. Diómedes es un chofer de autobús neo-esclavista y su hermana Patria es una ex chapiadora. Ambos están pasándole una diferencia a los hijos pero parece ser de cualquier cosa menos dinero. El verdadero viaje es: ¿Qué haces con las cartas que se te han dado?

Synopsis

Across the Dominican Republic, everyone with the last name Ramírez is promised a multimillion-euro inheritance—lost to time and stolen by a dictator. The story centers on the family of Diómedes Ramírez. The film explores the uncertainty of waiting for what has been promised and what people do while they wait. Diómedes is a bus driver trapped in modern-day exploitation, while his sister Patria is a former gold digger. Both are trying to leave something meaningful to their children, but it appears to be anything but money. The real journey asks: What do you do with the cards you have been dealt?
