Cousins Arturo Villa and Cristian Valenzuela began playing at 10 years old in Culiacan, Sinaloa. Together with members Gil Lizarraga & Jesus Alan Obeso they form the Musica Mexicana band EdiciónEspecial. The group started their career inMexico, gaining fame in states like Jalisco, Sinaloa, Baja California, Sonora and beyond.

In 2016, Edicion Especial recorded their first album titled Rompecabezas. The singles “El 3” y “El Doble RR” jumpstarted the band’s career and went viral on social media. Since then, the band has gone on to release 4 studioalbums, including the latest release Las Guardadas in 2023.The band has cemented themselves in the top of their genre, collaborating with famed peerssuch as Fuerza Regida, Grupo Firme and more.

After a successful “Primera Edición” tour in the US with multiplesold-outdates, Edicion Especial returns in 2024 with their “Segunda Edición” tour.
