Milly: Queen of Merengue

The New York Latino Film Festival presents Milly: Queen of Merengue is a vibrant musical inspired by the extraordinary life and career of Dominican singer, multi-Grammy Award winner, and international recording artist Milly Quezada, known around the world as
 the Queen of Merengue. 

A young Dominican woman arrives in New York, in the heart of Washington Heights, chasing a dream that feels out of reach. As the Latin Boom reshapes a generation, she turns her struggles into a legacy, becoming Milly Quezada, the Queen of Merengue and a symbol
 of identity and resilience.
