Barnard Celebration for Classes of 2020 & 2021

Barnard is thrilled to welcome the graduates from the Classes of 2020 and 2021 back to campus to celebrate their accomplishments on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Barnard’s celebration and ceremony will follow the graduation ceremony at Columbia University, and two amazing Barnard alumnae will join us as speakers at the ceremony: Paola Ramos ’09 and Cynthia Nixon ’88. 

• Ticketing will open on Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on this webpage, run by the venue’s exclusive ticketing provider (Boletos Express). 
• Graduates should not reserve a seat for themselves; their seats are accounted for in the reserved seating sections. If you registered only yourself for Barnard's events you will not have an access code because you do not need to secure yourself a seat.
• Guest seats for the ceremony at the United Palace Theatre must be reserved in advance only via this site. Graduates registered through Barnard’s alumnae website (our.barnard.edu) event page will be able to secure their allotment of tickets by entering the email used to register for the event as their access code, which they must enter to complete their seat reservation (see screenshots here). If you didn’t get confirmation of registration, you won’t have an access code. With the registration deadline having passed, access codes may take up to 2 business days to be entered into the Boletos Express system. 
• The College will not be able to make ticket selections or reservations for alumnae or their guests.  
• Guests cannot attend the ceremony without a ticket with an assigned seat (including children). Children over the age of 3 must have a guest ticket to enter the United Palace Theatre.
• Seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Seats cannot be changed once they have been selected.
• Spaces for wheelchair-accessible seats are available upon request via this form; reservations are also first come, first served. Tickets for wheelchair-accessible seats & companion seats will be emailed directly to the alumna within two business days and will serve as confirmation of the request. Please note that neither the College nor the venue can offer wheelchairs. 
• The digital tickets will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout (which must match the email for the access code). Be sure to share the digital tickets (which can be printed) with your guests since they will be checking in later and separately from graduates.
• Tickets can only be scanned one time. If the tickets are forwarded to more people than were selected in the initial seat selection, only the first guest who shows up will be able to get in. Once a ticket is scanned at the theater doors it will no longer be usable for another guest.
