Enrique Guzmán
Enrique Guzmán is a renowned rock star who has made an enduring impact on the Mexican music industry for over half a century. He rose to prominence primarily through his captivating Spanish translations of 1950s rock classics, including iconic songs like "Jailhouse Rock." In 1958, Guzmán formed the influential rock band "Los Teen Tops," which made its debut in the United States 1959, gaining international recognition. Guzmán also exhibited his songwriting prowess by penning hits such as "Pensaba en tí" and "La Ronchita," for himself and other Latin stars.
Recognized as one of Latin rock's pioneers, Enrique Guzmán's contributions to the music industry earned him a well-deserved place in the Paseo de las Luminarias, embedding his handprints for posterity in 1983.
